The right side has just the Surface Connect charging port. The top has just the Windows logo, while the left side has the USB Type-A port, the USB Type-C port and the 3.5mm audio socket. So, it should be able to take those accidental bumps.

The machine is very solid and there is no hint of flex, thanks to the metal build. The bottom, however, is plastic but it still looks very premium.
